adding employee payroll after submitting for the month

i have just started using quickbooks and just doing my first payroll, I only added the first 2 employees and pressed submit to HMRC but now it wont let me put the other 2 employees payroll through can anyone tell me how to solve this please

Hi, JP50.

 

You'll want to make sure that you've set up for RTI before running payroll for your employees. Then, add your Government Gateway credential for the PAYE online services. 

Let me guide you on how to enter your HMRC credentials.

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Company Settings.
  2. Choose Payroll.
  3. Select the Edit icon next to Online filing with HMRC.
  4. Make sure that the slider next to Save Gateway credentials is turned on.
  5. Enter the Gateway ID and Gateway Password. HMRC provides the Gateway ID, which is a random combination of 6 letters and numbers.
  6. Make sure that the slider next to Submit FPS automatically with Payroll (or Automatically file in Settings) is turned on.
  7. Click Save.
