Hello Andrea40,
Welcome to the Community page,
Can we ask which payroll it is you have with us at Quickbooks, is it our Standard payroll or our Advanced payroll?
I'm having same problem today. Did you find a way to fix?
Hello Bingomel, thanks for commenting on this thread, can we ask which payroll it is you are using in your Quickbooks? Is it our Standard payroll or our Advanced payroll?
Standard payroll
Screenshot of my screen. Overview not accessible, so unable to run payroll.
Let's resolve the error you're having to access your payroll, @bingomel.
A regular browser's cache stores temporary internet files from your browsing history. However, as it collects too many files, this may cause performance issues in your account. This might be the reason why you access payroll.
First, you'll have to sign in to your QBO account using a private browser. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Restart your browser right after.
From here, you can now create a pay run in your payroll account: How to run payroll in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll. Then, send an FPS (Full Payment Submission) to HMRC that shows all employee payments and deductions every time you run payroll: Submit FPS to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.
You can also try to process your payroll using other supported browsers (Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge) if the steps above didn’t work.

I have cleared cache and browsing history as suggested. I am using safari on my mac. This still has not allowed me access to run payroll.
Thanks for trying that bingomel, do you have access to Firefox web browser on your device? We'd be grateful if you could attempt to access QuickBooks using this and confirm if the payroll then loads as expected. :folded_hands:
