I've checked on our end for reports with a similar situation but didn't find any @info1641.
To proceed, I suggest you open your browser's private window. This isolates cache, which is the common culprit for unexpected behaviors in browsers.
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Otherwise, open an alternative browser that's available for you.
Another thing to check is to ensure there are no gaps in the VAT registration number box before you re-authorise MTD.
Here's how:
- Highlight the Taxes tab.
- Select VAT.
- Click the Edit VAT drop-down menu.
- Choose Edit settings.
- Make sure there are no gaps and spaces on the VAT registration box.
- Hit Save.
Once that's taken care of, refer to this article: MTD VAT Submission Checklist. It's a complete list of things you need to prepare and submit your MTD VAT in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Tag me in the comments below if you have other questions about the MTD VAT submission process in QBO. I'll be sure to get back to you.
