If your getting an error message after entering the information, we can do some troubleshooting steps.
Let's open the incognito or private browser and sign in to your QuickBooks account. This mode will not store your browsing history and prevents error caused by cache. You can use the keyboard shortcuts below:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P
If you're able to update the PAYE and the Account Office reference number without any error, you'll wan to clear your regular browser's cache. This helps refresh your browser settings. Then, restart your browser afterwards.
Alternatively, try using a different supported browser.
If the same thing happens, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They can pull up your account and further review the issue.
Here are the steps:
- Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
- In the Help window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
- Enter your question and click Let's talk.
- Choose either Start a chat or Call us.
If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the Help menu, and select Talk to a human.
- Choose Talk to a human again.
- Proceed with I still need a human.
- Click the Contact us link.
- Select either Start messaging or Get a call.
