You can add Christmas bonuses directly through each employee's profile. Let me show you how to do this.
Note: if you have Auto-payroll enabled, you need to temporarily pause it for this period, as that feature is designed to manage everything automatically.
Here's how to add the bonus:
- Go to Payroll and select Employees.
- Click on the name of the employee you want to edit.
- In the Pay types section, select Edit (or Start).
- Scroll down to the Common pay types section and check the box for Bonus.
- Select Save.
- Repeat for each employee receiving a bonus.
Now, when you go back to Run Payroll, the Bonus column should be visible and editable.
