In "all sales" , I want to Set custom dates for the last HMRC year IE. Receipt numbers 1-134 so I can see a grand total but it does not do this. What is wrong with it?

You can filter the transactions in your all sales to see the grand total of your 134 receipt numbers, @contactlynmooreb. I know how to do this, and I'll assist you with it.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), if you're unable to view the grand totals of your transactions, it could be because your rows are limited. Expanding the rows helps display the grand totals accurately. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Sales menu, then select All sales.
  2. Under Type, click the drop-down arrow to choose what transaction you want to display, then customize the date filter.
  3. On the right-hand corner, click the gear icon to filter the rows.

If the grand totals are still not visible, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to see if this issue is related to the browser. This will help us determine the cause of the problem.

We can begin by logging into your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser to prevent accessing historical data. You can use the keyboard shortcuts provided below to save time:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If it works fine, clear your cache so the system can start fresh. You can also utilize different supported browsers to help narrow down the cause of this issue.

You're still welcome to comment back if you have more questions in mind or need anything. I'll keep an eye out for your reply. Have a good one!
