Ensuring that your reports are successfully sent to His Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is our priority, Sandrar. Let me help you with this.
Before we proceed, can you please let me know the error message you've encountered when submitting your payroll reports to HMRC? Any additional details and screenshots would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime, let's ensure that Real Time Information (RTI) is enabled, in case someone has accidentally turned it off.
Here's how:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account
- Click on the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings, and then Payroll.
- Select the pencil icon next to Online filing with HMRC.
- Enter your credentials, then click on Save Gateway credentials.
- Tick Submit FPS automatically to HMRC with payroll if you want QuickBooks to automatically file an FPS each time you process payroll.
- Save your changes and select Done.
However, if enabling Real Time Information (RTI) does not resolve the issue, you can manually submit the Full Payment Submission (FPS) to HMRC.
Furthermore, as the tax year draws to a close, it's essential to ensure your payroll is well-organised. Feel free to visit this article for future help: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online Core Payroll.
