A payroll account on hold means payroll services for that account have been paused. This can happen when there isn't enough money in the bank to cover payroll payments, which is called a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) hold.
Other reasons might include fraud, an unpaid bill, or missing information needed to complete your account setup.
You can check your inbox for an email with information and instructions on how to resolve the hold.
