Processsing payroll retrospectively

Hello Barbara,

Thanks for joining our online Community. Can I check which version of the payroll you are using to advise you on this?

We currently have two payroll versions in use - Standard and Advanced - when selecting 'Employees' on the left-hand navigation menu the standard payroll will display two tabs for 'Employees' and 'Payroll'.

Thanks

Hello Thekitchenologists,

What retrospective thing do you need from the payroll exactly?  Is it payslips, payroll history?

Hi, I would like to set payroll up so I can make a retrospective NI payment- I thought it had been done by accountant, but it hasn't.

This needs to go back to 2015- so could possibly enter one payroll transaction per year?

Hello Thekitchenologists,

You can not do this within Quickbooks itself.

The only way you can do this is if you do the EYU for previous financial years through HMRC's Basic Tools and this will be on HMRC's website.

when I've tried to amend payroll to 2015, an error message comes up- out of default date range.

Is this in quickbooks or on HMRC''s when you get the error message?  Have you run payroll in Quickbooks yet or not?
