I'm here to share some information regarding finalising a pay run in QuickBooks.
Finalising a pay run will lock the payroll data for that point in time, reports will be available, and payslips will be visible to your employees. However, you'll still be able to modify it by clicking the Unlock option.
If your pay run is in-finalised status, then it could you were not able to click the Finalise Pay Run button.
You can still finalised it by following the steps below
- Open the pay run you that's in-finalised status.
- Go to the Actions tab.
- Click the Finalise Pay Run button.
