Does revolut business work with QuickBooks? Trying to connect, QuickBooks can't understand the fact it has euro, dollar, and sterling balances.

Produces an error response, "We couldn't link this account to your QuickBooks categories.". It's a fresh account/company/QuickBooks account, used Xero with previous company but decided to try quicken this time.

Let me provide you with some information about Revolut business integration, peter.colback.

In QuickBooks, you can connect your Revolut business. However, QuickBooks can only support one currency. That being said, you may consider a third-party application. You can visit the QuickBooks Apps page. It includes the list of third-party applications that connects with the QBO system.

I'm adding this future link to guide you through the process: Categorise and match online bank transactions. It includes tips and several ways to review your bank entries.

Hello there, @bryanhuntwithay-. Welcome to the Community.

Currently, there isn't an option to integrate Revolut Business with QuickBooks Online (QBO). With this, I'd recommend contacting the said third-party application's Customer Care team. They have ways on how to connect and guide you in getting your transactions to QBO.

Additionally, you can visit the QuickBooks Apps page. It contains the complete list of third-party applications that connects with the QBO system.

In the meantime, I'm also adding this article to further guide you in managing the growth of your business using QBO: QuickBooks Help Articles. It includes topics about connecting products/apps, banking, and expenses, to name a few. You can click the + More topics button to view other selections.

Let me know if you have other concerns about integrating third-party applications and managing your transactions in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.

As far back as 2019 they claim to have a working solution using openbanking standards. Has something changed in the standards? Does QuickBooks support integration with a provider who supports multi-currency accounts?

Hello Bryanhuntwithay- So you can connect to Revolut as you can see from this list here.  In  quickbooks the accounts can only support one currency, it sounds like your account has multiple currencies within the same account is that right? If so it would not be able to connect to within Quickbooks.

Thanks Ashleigh, it sounds like either QuickBooks or Revolut business is not fit for purpose. Is this a problem I can pay more to make go away or do I need to replace one of the vendors? Multiple currencies is a standard revolut feature, at least at the time of my account creation. I am surprised more people have not encountered this problem.

@bryanhuntwithay-

Have you explored opening a Wise Business account? It supports QB Online and you can run the bank feeds.

Thanks Asia, I got it working but there's some bug and can only get sterling account working.

I'm order to enable, I had to dig into QuickBooks menus and find an option to enable multi currency account.

I need revolut as they support a European business bank account in a country I'm going to open a subsidiary in.

I've opened a fresh topic to address the multi currency bug, at least the initail part is resolved now, wish I could spend more time on business rather than clunky integrations/digging through obscure feature toggles.

@Maybelle_S Why are you saying there is no option to integrate with Revolut Business? I have been successfully linking my Revolut Business (multi-currency!) account to QuickBooks Online.

There is even a Revolut article about this integration: https://www.revolut.com/en-US/business/help/more/integrating-with-apps/using-the-quickbooks-integrat...

Very confused to read this message from the QuickBooks team.

No it works. But there was a convoluted process. You have to manually go to QuickBooks settings and enable multi-currency account, it doesn't cost extra, it just isn't enabled by default, after that, it "just works", you need to reconnect it every 90 days and at time of reconnection you may get duplicate records which QuickBooks will correct if you create a support request. "Business" software is shockingly clunky compared to "consumer" stuff in general :)

I would have hoped this would be fixed by now, but there is still only one currency linked/viewable and I invoice in three Euro. & USD)

Come on guys, it can't be that hard to sort out !
