HMRC submission accepted but the icon in payruns has not turned green

I know a way and information concerning filing status in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll, annie.

 

Currently, we have an investigation for QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll users about the submission icon showing as not submitted despite being confirmed by HMRC as received and in the pay run.

 

Our engineering team is currently working on this matter to provide a resolution to affected accounts. Since they're working on this issue internally, we don't have a specific timeline for when it will be resolved. 

 

Moreover, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team to ensure you'll get an update about the resolution status. This way, they can add your company file to the list of affected users and provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-108402. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chat box, select Talk to a Human or tap the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  4. Then, type in your reason for contacting us in the What can we help you with? Box and click Continue.
  5. From there, choose a way to connect: Start a conversation, Get a callback, or call our support line directly by getting our phone number.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll, I recommend performing troubleshooting steps that help address unusual behavior on a cloud-based application like QBO. A private window is a helpful tool for troubleshooting browser-related difficulties, as it won't preserve any history. The following are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Once done, we can clear your browser's cache or cookies to avoid similar issues in the future. Alternatively, opting for one of the supported browsers can also be an option.
