Hello Steve-robinson
Simple Start is the package type.
We are assuming from the terminology you have used that it is the standard payroll you are using.
The only way to enter YTD in this payroll would be to roll the payroll back to July (by clicking on the pay run run from most recent backwards>actions>delete payroll) and then when you go to employees>select the employees>pay history you will have the option to enter the YTD figures. We would recommend downloading the payslips for the employees you have already run the payroll for so you can make sure when you re run the payrolls they are correct.
Have you submitted an FPS for those pay runs?
Emma
Hello Steve-Robinson
Thanks for your question.
We just need to confirm a few things, what date did you start running the payroll in QuickBooks Online and how many pay runs have you done? Are you using the standard, advanced or Paysuite payroll?
Emma
Hi Emma,
We have run four payrolls, the first on 31st July, 2019 and are using simple start.

Thanks Emma, yes FPS's submitted for each payroll run.
Hi steve-robinson
If you have submitted the fPS's you can re-submit them by selecting 'correction to earlier submission' as the reason for the submission and this will overwrite the FPS's that have already been submitted. Run the payroll > save and view draft > confirm ans submit > then navigate to Taxes > Payroll tax > click intio the FPS > select the drop down menu next to the reason for submission > submit.
Thanks John, I'll take a look at that.
