Thanks for that Finance16, you will need to add them as a new employee to get them back onto your payroll/payrun.

Hello Finance16, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

Which payroll is it you are using in your Quickbooks, is it standard or advanced?

 

The way to tell is when you click on payroll on the main navigation bar if you have two other tabs show up saying payroll and employees that is standard payroll if no other tabs show up then it is advanced payroll.

Oh ok thanks for confirming.

 

When I first transferred there was the functionality to reactivate via a button on the employee profile but that is no longer there. Just to give you the heads up that there is also still information in the help section reference re-activating an employee this way.
