Hello there, @eleanor-nellysac.
Allow me to chime in and help you log in to your account. Let’s perform some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
You can start by opening QBO via incognito mode or private browsing. It will narrow the source of the issue without deleting any information.
Here are some keyboard shortcuts to bring up a private tab:
If you can successfully search the client and save the transactions, clear the cache of your normal browser to start on a clean slate. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.
I've also enclosed some articles that you can read to help manage your downloaded expenses and income transactions:
Please let me know in the comment section if you have other questions about saving transactions in QuickBooks. I’ll be glad to help you further. Have a good one.
Thanks for attempting to reply, but that isn't what I've asked. I'm an accountant, and have quite a few companies set up. Usually when I have accessed a businesses books, the last five appear on the search list, that isn't happening now. That I can live with.
However, when matching transactions on the bank, the transaction doesn't disappear from the list after I've matched it. This isn't due to cookies, my browser is set up not to retain cookies. It is also happening on other computers that I use, including clients. So when I'm at their office trying to show them how to use Quickbooks, I look pretty stupid when I have to keep telling them to refresh the page each time they match a transaction.
All I ask is that you get your technical team to look into this and resolve it their end please.
Hello Eleanor, thanks for letting us know we have passes this on to the relevant team to look into it more.
Hi,
We are having the exact same problems.
We are a small accountancy firm who do bookkeeping for a good number of our clients and sometime process over 200 transactions on one go and when the matches don't disappear unless you refresh is taking up valuable time.
Had the problem a couple of times last week and today seems to be on every client account we open. Also the most recent clients opened are not appearing in the most recent used list.
We have not experience any issues with 'match & add' before and it's even happening with the 'record transfer' option, it just sitting there even thought you've processed the transaction and the only way to clear is to re-fresh your screen - not ideal.
Look forward to a solution soon.
Hi Antia 1969, thanks for joining this thread - we're aware of the frustration being caused by this and our team have raised the following investigation to track the issue: INV-79124 Banking: Using find match does not remove transaction from bank feed. While we work towards a fix, please continue to refresh the page or navigate away from and back to the bank feed to update this.
Hi,
Just wondering when this problem will be resolved as not very professional when working with clients and also time consuming keep refreshing and can often try and do the same transaction twice !
Please advise an ETA.
Regards Anita Smith
