In the interests of fairness there seems to be a huge improvement since last night. My quickbooks is actually usable again and things actually work almost immediately when I click on them. I do hope this improvement is permanent as was seriously considering looking for an alternative.
Shocking for the last 2 weeks. I can not log in now. When i have been logged in, every move is slow and painful - moving from client to client, adding a bank payment from banking screen, even uploading bank. I have clients wanting invoices resent - nope, cant do it , so im not getting paid anytime soon! Have not even been able to invoice customers for work done in the run up to deadline day in January. I currently have a few vat returns to do which are quite lengthy and am now going to spend this downtime looking at alternative software. I can not afford to be paying QB the monthly money i do and not do the work for the clients!
Same here - tried to report but no joy
Hi all, thanks for posting. We're aware of a latency issue impacting QBO and we're currently tracking this on the following investigation: INV-82864 - QBOA / QBO UK - Latency on all pages when using QBO. If you haven't already, please reach out to our support team to be added to this so that we can notify once fixed. In the meantime, please try accessing via a different web browser, private/incognito window, device and network (if available). :)
Thank you for your replies - helps to know that I'm not the only one frustrated by it! We run our business off it so really hoping it gets sorted quickly!!
Yes, since the end of January my Quickbooks Online has been virtually unusable. Done all the usual stuff, restarting, clearing cache etc but at my wits end to be honest. The spinning wheel of doom has to be one of the most frustrating things in my working life at the moment. Even the simplest of tasks are taking forever.
This is so annoying! Because it is so slow, I either don’t post an invoice, or duplicate it. It took me 7 minutes to log in today and then another few minutes before my list of suppliers loaded. Don’t know what we paid for here, but maybe an idea to move to another accounts system
Same here. Been on the phone twice, chat twice, to no avail. I get paid by the hour. Feeling very sorry for my boss!!!!
Surely there must be something wrong. What if we all stop paying this month?

Hello raymiemack, thanks for posting on this thread, that is great to hear, thanks for sharing that with us.
Thankfully for us QB's is back to normal - hurrah! 6 days of frustration but now funtionality resumed - I know we take it for granted day in and day out when it works normally!
This is ridiculous! I'm paid hourly and can't work at all! When is this issue going to be resolved????
Hi Georgia,
Has anything been done to resolve the issue below? I haven't been able to access the site for 2 days.
Hello, @mparker211.
The investigation of the latency on all pages when using QuickBooks Online (QBO) is now resolved. Since you're still unable to access the site, I suggest clearing your browser's cache.
A regular browser's cache stores temporary internet files from your browsing history. However, as it collects too many files, this may cause performance issues in your account.
I've got some steps to help fix this issue. First, you'll have to sign in to your QBO account using a private browser. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache.
Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Restart your browser right after.
If you are still experiencing the same issue after completing our recommended troubleshooting steps, I suggest reaching out to QuickBooks Online Support to isolate the issue and help you resolve it.
You can always get back to me if you have questions or other concerns by leaving a comment below. I'm always here to assist. Have a great rest of the day.
