Yes, there's a way you can correct your payroll, @Kazza965. Let me guide you on how to do this in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP).

If you're using QBO Advanced Payroll, you can unlock a pay run to edit employee's entered amount. This also allows you to update and recalculate the values associated within the chosen pay run. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to Payroll and select the Pay Runs tab.
  2. Select the pay period you wish to unlock.
  3. Select Pay Run Actions, then Unlock.
  4. Enter the reason for unlocking the data in the comments.
  5. Select Unlock to confirm. Note: Once you unlock the pay run, you can always Finalise Pay Run again if you need to.

You can learn more about the process above by checking out this article: Delete or unlock payroll in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll.

If you're using QBO Standard Payroll, you can't delete just one payment in a pay run. Once you need to correct an employee payment, you can make changes in the next pay run, and the Full Payment Submission (FPS) for the next pay run will reflect the updates. To know more about the things you need to know before deleting a pay run and for the step-by-step guide, please see this article: Delete a pay run in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

Also, you may want to check out any of these articles (depending on your payroll solution) as your reference in completing your payroll tasks in QBO:

Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have other payroll concerns or questions about managing employees in QBOP. I'm always ready to help. Take care, @Kazza965.
