pensionable pay

Hi matthew28

Thanks for joining us here on the Community. :waving_hand:

Please check that the Employer Pensionalble option is showing ticked on the SMP pay category by going to Payroll settings > Pay categories > Scroll down to the SMP category and click to expand.

Thanks!

pensionable pay

Thanks Georgia

It turned out I needed to go into the salary category and tick the employer's pension box  for that as well

The other staff are now correct going forward but it was still  assessing employer contributions on the SMP as 0.

I then went in again to the SMP on the employee and ticked the Pension Protection Box and  inserted the  employers contribution amount in there and it then shows up on the reports.
