Hi Taylorandcoacc, thanks for coming back to us, so what you will need to do is get the cleint to reauth the mtd connection if they have been filing more than 18 months with mtd. That should resolve the issue they have been having. If they still have a problem then please reach back out to us again.

What does it say/happen when they try and connect to HMRC?
Hi,
It say that he needs to reconnect with HMRC and still shows his VAT return for 1/4 ending 28 February due for filing. That return has been filed and today we have filed the return for 1/4 ending 31 May. Our client still cannot see this.
In the past he has always taken care of his own VAT returns. We have other clients with similar issues where their taxes tab is not showing their current VAT period and is showing a problem connecting to HMRC. As the accountant we do not have any problem.
