Hi there, tquinn.

I'll help you get rid of that error.

When you encounter runtime errors or odd behavior in QuickBooks Online, you can access your QuickBooks account in a private or incognito window to isolate the issue. It could be that the accumulated cache in the browser is the root cause of this error.  This mode doesn't use the existing cookies and site data. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

After that, confirm your payroll again. If the error is now gone, close the incognito window and then go back to your regular browser. Next, clear its cache to improve your browsing experience. You may also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

Additionally, here's an article that will help you track your payroll transactions in the program: View reports in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

Let me know by leaving a comment below if you need further assistance in completing your other payroll tasks. Have a great day ahead.

Hi - I am receiving this message for casual employees only. I am using basic payroll function. I have never seen this before.
