Could you try in google chrome as we don't fully support Microsoft Edge and see if it always you to submit vat returns on behalf of your clients.

Upon checking my resources, I haven’t found any reported cases similar to your issue. Let’s try to check if this has something to do with your browser. Try doing the process again through a private window. Here’s how:

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works fine, you can clear your browser’s cache or use a different one. There are times that the overloaded files stored in your browser can cause unusual behaviors like this. 


If the same issue continues, it would be best to contact our support team. They have extra tools to help you investigate and fix the issue. 


Here’s how to reach them:

  1. Click Help at the top. 
  2. Select Contact us. 
  3. Provide a brief explanation about your concern. 
  4. Click Let’s talk. 
  5. Select Get a callback. 

Visit us again if you have other questions about QuickBooks.

Hi

Just had the same problem after upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft Edge!

ALL of my clients have lost their HMRC VAT connection, and QB is suggesting I restart the MTD process all over again.

Been working fine for 9 months + so not sure I want to reset every client ??

Any suggestions please ?
