Welcome to the Community space, @Adibog87. Allow me to guide you in disconnecting your MTD.
There are a few things to keep in mind before disconnecting
- Information will no longer be shared between QuickBooks Online and HMRC
- You may no longer be able to submit digital VAT returns
Let's now disconnect your MTD:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
- In the Advanced tab, select Making Tax Digital to expand the section.
- Select Learn how to disconnect.
- Click Continue, then Select Disconnect to confirm.
- Hit Continue to return to QuickBooks Online.
Then, let's reconnect using the correct credentials:
- In QuickBooks, go to Taxes.
- Choose Set up MTD, then click Authorise now.
- Select Continue.
- A window will pop up, log in to your MTD Government Gateway credentials. You can find this in the confirmation email you receive from HMRC.
- Select Continue, then click Give permission.
- Once you're connected, select Continue and then Go to Taxes.
You'll see a badge appear on your taxes dashboard to indicate that MTD for VAT is enabled. Here's what it looks like:
