Would you employ new people to join your business? Would you develop a new product or would you use the money for marketing tools?
Be creative!
How would you spend the money and invest in your business? Comment your ideas below!
There are so many things I would love to achieve with my own personal business.
I am a health and wellness blogger and I also work freelance for a variety of brands.
However, some of my future goals include:
Honestly, the list is endless! However, my true aim is to spread positivity wide and far. I want to create products that people can use and gain information from. Who knows what could happen in the future!
How would you spend the money and invest in your business @JJJZ? This is definitely an interesting one for your business. I would love to know your ideas in the comments below!
Hi, @pezza!
Welcome to the UK QB Community!
I would love to know your perspective on this. If you were suddenly granted with £10,000 how would you grow your business with the money? What are the things you would love to do?
I know I would do sooo many things! My list is never-ending for developing my business
Hi, @Karsty! :)
Ok Karsten, how would you spend the money if you suddenly received £10,000? - I would love to know your thoughts on this!
I would pay off my debts, full stop!
Hi, @Karsty!
Yes, agreed! I know a lot of small business owners would do the same. It takes a lot to run a business.
If the debts were already paid... How else would you spend the money? Would you develop your business even further? Upgrade your van?
I am sure you have some aspirational ideas!
Convert out garage into an office
Hi, @Vickysbookkeepi
Welcome to the U.K QB Community! It's wonderful to have you here :)
Great idea, I would probably do the same. What would you use the office for? Your business? I would love to know more about what you do!
I run a small bookkeeping and accounting practice . Currently use a desk in our living room . My husband and I run the business together
Just started this year . Have 13 clients so far . Love quickbooks and receipt bank.
@Jess W If I had my debts already paid off, I would probably just spend it on the newest van I could get. I've pretty much got my tools sorted out.
I wouldn't spend it on "expanding" my business. I've employed 3 different people in the past, and it was too complicated. One businessman that I've been gardening for since about 2000 said "It's not worth employing anyone unless it's at least 7 people".
If I employed someone again I'd have to have the stress again of worrying about the quality of their work and keeping them busy all the time.
With £10,000 I would just about be able to afford a used Ford Transit Custom.
But I'd still have to go through all the hoo har of fitting out the inside with plywood and fittings for my tools all over again!
Hi, @Vickysbookkeepi
That's great to hear! & wonderful feedback on QuickBooks.
Are you wanting to grow your business further? :)
Hi, @Karsty!
Great ideas! & yes, that's completely understandable. When people don't do things to your standard it can be challenging.
Also, when you have a reputation to maintain, it's extremely important that you employ people who can keep that awesome reputation going and exceeding expectations! I am sure many people can relate to your experience.
How is the business? Have you been busy? :)
Hi, Teri!
Hope you're well. If you were suddenly given a big pay cheque, how would you spend the money and how would you invest in your business?
