Foreign Amount in AP Aging Report error

In the AP Aging Report the Foreign Open Balance of each transaction shows only €0, despite the actual open balance being e.g. £20,000.00 and the foreign amount being eg €22,000.00.

Foreign Amount in AP Aging Report error

Thank you for providing the details and the screenshot, klous-1. The possible reason your Foreign Open Balance is currently showing as €0 is that the report requires a triggered calculation to bridge the gap between your home currency (GBP) and the foreign currency (EUR). When exchange rates fluctuate, the system’s "link" to those values can become stale, causing the report to default to zero if a current rate isn't recognized for that period.

Revaluing your currency allows the system to recalculate the value of your open transactions based on current market rates. You can do this by going to the Gear icon, selecting Currencies under the Lists column, clicking the Edit currency exchange dropdown, and hitting Revalue currency. From there, choose all your open balances and hit the Revalue and Save button.

Please return to your A/P Aging Detail report and see if the value is now displaying. If it is still not appearing, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Live support team. They have the tools and capabilities to conduct a deeper review of your report setup and history to resolve the issue immediately.

Please don't hesitate to leave us a response if you have other questions or concerns.

I appreciate you getting back to the thread and updating us on the result, @klous-1. Since the value is still not appearing in your A/P Aging Detail report, the best next step is to contact our Live Support team directly so they can further investigate your account and determine why it’s showing as zero. You can simply go to the Help section, select the Search tab, and then choose Contact Us to type in your concern. Once you hit Continue, you can click the Chat or Callback option to get started.

Can reported issues raised in the community ever be escalated to the product team for an actual fix, rather than users being repeatedly referred back to support or to "Feedback"? I have already spent a significant amount of time on support chats explaining the same problem, each time I haev to start the process from zero despite having case numbers, then sharing my screen to show them.  It takes a long time and nothing appears to be happening. It is becoming a very poor use of my time.
