Dear Igor ZFX,

Normally, you can access your data for one year after canceling your paid QBO subscription. After such time, everything will be permanently deleted. However, you may not need to wait for a year and can simply contact our QBO Support to have your data removed from our system.

To contact our QBO Support team:

  1. Click on Help and click the Search tab.
  2. Click Contact Us at the bottom.
  3. Enter a sentence to describe your concern and click Continue.
  4. Choose Start a chat or Get a callback.

You can always go back to this thread if you need more help with QBO. Have a good one!

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @Igor ZFX.

QuickBooks Online is a cloud accounting software. You no longer need to install, upgrade, or maintain the app. Also, it's secure and automatically backed up for you.

Yes, you can use QuickBooks Online to add and track a company that has 600 employees. Check this link and then click the QB for you to choose your Business type and Industry. You'll be routed to the right version of QuickBooks that suits your business. Then, this QuickBooks Payroll link will help you choose the payroll service that's right for your business.

Regarding user access, you can add different levels of access for your users. For more information about roles and user access, check out this article for more information: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online

Here's a guide that can help you with setting up your account: Get started with QuickBooks Online.

After subscribing to QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can reach out to our dedicated developer community forum, where you will be taken through the process of connecting Azure AD with QBO. Here's how:

  1. Go to this site Intuit Developer Support.
  2. Click on API Docs & Tools and select QuickBooks Online.
  3. Choose the Ask a Question button to post your concern.

Then, you may check with Elastic (SIEM) Customer Support if they support QBO. You can check for third-party apps that work well with QBO by going to the link: QuickBooks Apps.

Let me know if you have further questions about choosing the version of QuickBooks. I'm here to help. Have a great rest of the day!

0. Is there a version of QuickBooks which is suitable for company ~600 employees?

You can use any QB Online to manage your business. The real question is whether you prefer to use QB Payroll to manage your 600 employees or use a third-party payroll application to integrate with QB Online.

1. Can Microsoft SSO be implemented? Can my company connect QuickBooks Online to our Azure? Is it possible to use existing Azure AD for access groups?

As I know, this year they started supporting Google SSO. Hopefully next year they support Azure.

2. Can QuickBooks Online be integrated with our existing Elastic (SIEM)?

As I know, there is no accounting application with the same class as QB Online that supports it. As a company, I believe Intuit and other accounting app developers use SIEM in their own environments.

4. Is QuickBooks Online totally cloud-based?

Yes

If you really need to use an accounting application to integrate with SSO SAML and SIEM, you should explore ERP class accounting applications.

Dear MaryJoyD, thank you very much for such detailed answer.

One more question so far is regarding data storing and ability to erase corporate data from QuickBooks forever. Is it possible to be sure when, for example, license is expired, data can be deleted forever?

Dear MaryJoyD, please can you advise regarding users and access: does QBO allow to set duration of sessions?
