Let's get your online banking connection working again, @hawksheadhomehel.
First, please make sure to use a private web browser when renewing your bank connection. This session doesn't memorize any site histories that can potentially affect QuickBooks responses.
I've got some handy shortcut keys you can use to access one:
- Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome .
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge .
- Command + Shift + N for Safari .
After that, please attempt to renew your bank connection one more time. If you got it to work this time, you can go back to your original browser and delete its cache. This helps wipe out the outdated internet files in the system so it can start fresh again.
If private browsing doesn't work, you can use another supported browser instead.
If you're using the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app, you can uninstall and then re-install it. This way, you can get the most updated version of the app and prevent issues like this.
For now, you'll want to manually upload your entries to bring them into QBSE. Then, you can now categorize and match your entries for your taxes and accurate records.
Stay in touch with me if you have other banking concerns. I'm here to help you out always.
