Thank you for alerting us about this issue, @Alex313.

At times, this error is caused by the browser you're using. The regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks. To isolate the issue, try entering bank history using a private window since it prevents your web browser from storing your data.

To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

If you're able to work fine from there, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, using other supported browsers can help us narrow the cause of this behaviour.

Also, check out this article for more information about entering historical information in QuickBooks Online.

Post again if you have any other questions. I'm a few clicks away to help. Have a good one!
