You need to open the transaction to modify the name. Here's how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks as an admin to avoid restrictions.
- Go to the Sales menu, then Invoices.
- Look for the invoice from there.
- Select View/Edit under Action.
- Go to the Customer dropdown, then select the correct name from there.
- Hit on Save and Close.
If the box is still unavailable, I recommend opening your account through a private window to narrow down the result. The stored cache on the browser you're using may affect this behaviour.
