We are in the process of movIng to QBO and really think the projects tool is impressive, however we can’t see how to add the standard overhead and manufacturing elements of our business to each project to get a more realistic profit figure than is currently been shown?

QBO doesn't have any assembly feature. Consider having an additional app to integrate with your QBO account.

No, its more of a percentage of the total overhead against expected turnover, applied to project prime cost (labour and materials.)
