How to import data from self QBSE to QB sole trader

I can help you import your files to Sole Trader, @bruce-23.

If you've chosen the automatic option of switching from QuickBooks Self Employed (QBSE) to QuickBooks Sole Trader, customers, trips, products and services, bank connections, transactions (from 01/01/2023), and receipts (records from 01/01/2023) are automatically imported.

However, if you're manually switching or there are data you'd still like to import, please know that these are the types of data that you can import into Sole Trader in a spreadsheet CSV file format: Bank DataInvoicesProducts and services, and Customers. For more details, refer to this guide: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Sole Trader.

Once you have that done, follow these steps to import your data to Sole Trader:

1. Sign in to Sole Trader..
2. Go to the Gear icon. Under the Tools section, choose Import data.

3. Select the data type you want to import.
4. Click Browse to upload the CSV file from your computer.

5. Choose Next.
6.Match the fields to the correct column headers. Then, click Done.

QuickBooks Sole Trader is part of the QuickBooks Online product lineup. To learn more about Sole Trader, here's an article that compares it to other QuickBooks offerings: QuickBooks Sole Trader feature comparison.
