I have cancelled my quickbooks subscription. I now cannot access the information for last year. How can I access it?

When I log in there are no previous years and there is also no way to contact help.

I have cancelled my quickbooks subscription. I now cannot access the information for last year. How can I access it?

You can access your data if it’s less than 12 months since the cancellation date, Robyn39.

 

When you cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription, your data remains available in read-only access for 1 year after the cancellation date. This allows you to log in and view your information during that time.

 

After 12 months, you can still re-subscribe using the same credentials, but your previous data will no longer be accessible. Thus, we strongly recommend exporting your data before canceling your subscription to ensure you have a backup.

 

In your case, if it’s less than 12 months since cancellation and you are still unable to access your data, this can be due to an unusual account behavior or technical issue.

 

With this, I'd suggest contacting our Phone Support team so they can review your account and assist with resolving this issue to help you access your data.

In case you’d like to go back to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account in the future, you can easily resubscribe again. Then, you can start working with your books.
