We can manually add the Payment Instructions in the QBO Mobile app to resolve this, Laughlin.
Please note that adding the message via the QBO desktop app will not automatically sync it to the Mobile app. We'll need to manually enter this information to ensure it appears within the invoice.
If you mean the Payment Instruction option isn't available, let’s begin by clearing your app’s data on your device. This action will restore the app to its default settings and delete any cached files that may be causing the issue.

Here’s what I have done:
-“Edit Default Settings”
-“Sales” Tab
-“Invoice payments”
-“Payment instructions”
I have added my details here.
Then, when I create an invoice on the desktop site these instructions appear at the bottom of the invoice but when I create an invoice from the app they are not present.
I have tried offloading the app as suggested but it made no difference and the app is up to date.

Currently, the QuickBooks Sole Trader (QBST) app doesn’t support adding payment instructions to invoices. This feature is only available on the desktop version.
As a workaround, we can manually enter payment details when creating invoices in the app.
