i want to downgrade from essentials to siimple start. However, it says i can't do this as i have multi-currency enabled. I don't use multi-currency. How do i fix?

Try opening your QBO account on any pricate/incognito browser. If you encounter the same problem, consider purchasing a 3rd party service to migrate your data to a new QBO account.

The multicurrency feature in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account is enabled, and you can verify it from the Settings menu, mike546.

 

Please note that once the multicurrency feature is enabled in your current subscription, it cannot be disabled, even if you do not use it. Additionally, the option to downgrade your account to Simple Start will no longer be available, as the multicurrency feature is not supported in that version.

 

Here's how you can check the multicurrency feature:

 

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
  2. Navigate to Advanced tab.

  3. Look for the Currency section.

 

As an alternative, you can consider creating a new QBO Simple Start account, transfer all the necessary data and files from your current Essentials account, and then cancel your existing subscription.
