Hello Bradley-Abrahams, thanks for posting on the Community page, where exactly are you trying to view the attachment, is it when you link on an invoice that has an attachment on it or is it somewhere else you are clicking on the transaction on the attachment? Also are you trying to do this on a laptop/pc on the web version or on a phone and on the web or app?
Thank you for coming back to me.
I am using a PC and I use Chrome as my browser.
When I complete payment for a transaction I will attach a pdf of the invoice or statement I have paid.
Ever since I have been using Quickbooks online I have been able to click on the attachment that I previously added and until a couple of weeks ago I have been able to view the attachment in a new chrome tab.
Now, when I click on an attachment it doesn't open a new window in chrome, it just prompts me to save the attached file.
I tried using Edge instead and it works very similarly to how chrome had worked until now. I would prefer to continue to use Chrome though.
Hi bradley-abrahams, thanks for getting back to us with that additional information - we currently have the following reported issue for this: INV-80108 PDF attachments will download or "Save as new" instead of opening to a new browser tab. Please reach our chat team on this link so that we can add you to the investigation and notify once resolved. :)
Thank you very much Georgia.
I clicked on the link, it just starts a new chat.
How do I have myself added to the list to hear the solution found from the investigation?
