We can change the invoice template in QuickBooks Online (QBO) by selecting your preferred template from the Design dropdown, geoff25.
Before making this change, please note that once you set the new invoice template as the default, it will automatically be applied as the default template each time you create a new invoice. This ensures that your selected design is seamlessly used moving forward.
Since you have created a new invoice template and set it as the default, but the original standard invoice template is still being selected, this issue may be related to your browser.
To resolve it, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, and ensure you are using an up-to-date or supported browser. Clearing the cache removes old stored data that can interfere with QuickBooks Online (QBO), while using the latest browser version ensures compatibility and helps prevent errors.
We recommend manually selecting your new invoice template from the Design dropdown when creating an invoice. This allows you to use the correct template while we rule out any browser-specific issues. Here's how:
- Click + New, then select Invoice.
- At the top of the invoice screen, click Manage.
- Open the Design dropdown, and select your preferred template under Other Templates.
