Pension file upload Error message The earnings period end date you’ve entered in the file header doesn’t match the earnings period end date in our records.

Hello Gcj1971

That error message from Nest pension wants you to check the earnings period end date on your schedule and enter that date within the pension file.

When you access NESTs wesite - What is the date nest saying the earnings period should be? Also, what is the earnings period in the nest contribution schedule you are uploading to nest as the next "Open" schedule?

When downloading pension contributions file for the wage period I've just processed within Quickbooks it asks for payment source, payment due date, and payment frequency. I enter payment source and the payment due date as stated on the due date on schedule on Nest and tax weekly.  When I upload the file to Nest get this message:

  • The earnings period end date you’ve entered in the file header doesn’t match the earnings period end date in our records. Please check your schedule details online and correct the information you’ve entered then resubmit.
  • The earnings period start date and payment due date don't match the schedule you've
  • selected. Please check and try again.

The earnings period on nest is 30th Nov - 6th Dec my payroll pay day is 6th Dec
