I started free trial of QBO Plus. A few days or so in the trial, I get banner of 50% off for 6 months. I click and fill out Billing details. I now want to cancel. It says "SUBSCRIBED Next charge on 17/07/2020 after trial ends". When I click "Cancel Subscription" it does not have link or button to cancel.
I do not want to be charged for this subscription.
Several calls to Intuit/QBO UK have been futile. I shall be calling again Monday 22/6/20.
If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to certain months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.
I hope you're doing great, HAM9000_8.
Allow me to jump into this thread and walk you through the steps on how to cancel your subscription.

I'm adding this article to become more familiar with the process of canceling your subscription in QuickBooks Online: Cancel your QBO subscription or trial.
You can visit us anytime if you have other questions. I'm always ready to assist. Wishing you well.
You don't have the Confirm Cancel button since you recently subscribe to your account via the free trial. But you can contact our Customer Care Support via the Help menu so someone from our phone team can help you cancel your account and subscription.
Lastly, I've also included this helpful article for your future reference: What Happens to my QuickBooks Online Data after I Cancel?

@JonpriL I made several calls to QBO UK. Once lady told me she would cancel and she would send me email confirmation that the account has been cancelled and that I won't be charged. That did not happened. I called next time. Another lady this time attempted to cancel but she could not cancel. She asked me to call again and speak to Payment/Billing/cancellation/Sales.
What is this?? What is the expected outcome in detail. Explain in detail what should happen when I call support and then what happens after that.
QBO remains silent in a lot of things. This is just not acceptable!
I would like to cancel my subscription package and have been calling for days but no one replies back.
I am now going to ask my bank to cancel the credit card transaction. as I cannot see an option online to cancel package.
I have got 10 for 10 a month
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, Tomas Kvederys.

I have been trying for the past two hours to cancel my subscription to Quickbooks, realising that I already did this and they have still been billing me. I h ave never used the service as I was unable to identify its value. No one is available. In the UK they have many services which deal with this type of fraud, which it is when they take funds from the account and do not allow access to questioning and preventing the company from taking funds from the account. As a journalist I'm going to be able to write about Quickbooks, but I am also contacting the financial ombudsman. Having read through the complaints about this company, I believe there is a case against them. If anyone else is able to offer advice that would be great. I have contacted Martin Lewis as well, to advise about this.
its a shame. nice comcept, just run by obviously inept or dishonest people who don't value their customers.
Thanks for joining the thread, Ma'am.
