All my data is lost after reinstalling qb app

Hi there, marked74-googlem.

 

I'll help you with recovering data from your QuickBooks Self-Employed app.

 

Let's double-check that you've reinstalled the correct QBSE software and used the correct login credentials. The transactions will be visible in this manner. You can use this link to download the iOS or Android mobile app for QuickBooks Self-Employed. 

 

Also, make sure that your bank account is still connected. Please keep in mind that when a bank account is disconnected, all of the transactions associated with it are deleted. This could potentially be the cause of your inability to view your data. If this is the case, you can manually import your transactions to ensure that your books are accurate and current.

 

You can log in to your bank website to get your old transactions via CSV file. Once you have the file, you can import them.

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Imports.
  3. Click the Import Older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  4. Select Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank.
  5. Choose the file and hit Open to start the import.
  6. Review the column headers and data, then click Continue to complete the import process.
