Hi
i am also trying to add my accountant but I am billed by Apple. I currently have no access to a desk top or laptop as it needs repairing. Please can you advise what to do?
Do I need to billed by intuit instead? Please help ASAP
thank you
Hello Allison, so what you need to do is cancel the subscription with the 3rd party once the bill cycle has ended with them. If you then log into your account on a web browser it will ask you to enter your payment details once you have entered them in you will be charged by us at intuit and see the option of add accountant in the cog wheel.
I need to migrate billing as well please. Can someone help

Hello I have the same problem adding my accountant. Is it possible to switch over please?
Hello there, @Dr Melissa Snaith. I'll share some insights about your concern.
If your subscription is from Intuit, you can add your accountant to your QBSE account by following these steps:
For visual reference, you can refer on the screenshots below.
If you don't see this option, you may have removed your membership from the Apple or Google Play stores. I recommend that you double-check your subscription with your app's provider.
Additionally, I'll be leaving these articles to help you in the future:

I just asked this exact same question and was told that in my region this is not something that I'm able to do so I can't add an accountant to QuickBooks self-employed am I able to switch over to one of the other ones to be able to do this or is it in my region no matter which one I have
Welcome to this thread, Crazipotmom.
Allow me to clarify the availability of the option to add an accountant. The said option is only available in US versions of QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
If you wish to have this option, you may consider using a US version. In case you decide to do so, here are the steps on how to subscribe to QBO US:

Keep posted if you have any other QuickBooks questions inviting accountants, I'm just here to help. Wishing you continued success!
These instructions regarding inviting you accountant are absolute rubbish, they do not work. When my account receives his invite he is asked for a password to access my QuickBooks, which does not have. He has even tried my personal password, which does not work. There is nothing on QuickBooks that tells you anything about this, and I also cannot get any on a telephone call from QuickBooks who knows anything about QuickBooks self-employed, and how to add ones accountant. So all this crap about, 'it's all so easy, just click the cog wheel, etc...' is total bollocks!
I am based in AUS and my Australian version of quickbooks self employed won't allow me an option to add an accountant. Can you please advise? I have a subscription directly with intuit/quickbooks.
It's good to have you here, @M_Ok.
I understand how valuable it would be for you to add your accountant and let them access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. Let me share my knowledge about the feature availability.
The feature to add or invite an accountant is available to the UK and US regions only. Since you mentioned that you're Australia-based, this is the reason why you can't see the Accountant option in the Account Settings.
If you wish to allow them to manage and review your financial status, I recommend exporting your financial reports and sending these data to them. I'll write down the steps on how to get these reports:
You can also download a detailed list of your transactions in a CSV file.
Moreover, I'll leave this article if you want to email your BAS Summary Report to your accountant and let them help you file your return to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) for tax compliance.
You could also refer to these links to gather more details about managing your data in QBSE:
