'Another favourite location is too close' problem

Let me share some information on how to add the second place as your favourite location within your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

Since you're prompted with the error saying "Another favourite location is too close", we can recreate a new favorite location with the same correct address. Sometimes, the system won't be that easily recognized the location when it's closely used to the old one. After recreating a new favourite location, we can remove the old one.

Here's how to recreate a new one and be able to save the second place without getting the same error message:

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Click Settings and Manage favourite locations.
3. Hit Add favourite location.
4. Enter the correct address.
5. Click Add. Then, Save.

Thanks for your reply but that doesn't solve the problem. These are the two addresses that I want to add to my favourites:

[address 1 removed]

[address 2 removed]

The app will accept either one of the addresses but not the other one.

Since you still received the same error and you're unable to add another favorite location, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support so a specialist can help you enter the location in the system. I'll show you how.

On iOS:

1. Tap the + button on the dashboard. 
2. Select Ask QB Assistant.
3. Ask a question or enter the error message.

On Android:

1. Tap the Chat Bubble icon on any page.
2. Ask general questions or enter the error message.
