Backwards Step - Planner/Cashflow

Hi Mark, thanks for sharing your feedback on the recent changes to the Cash Flow Planner. 

We specifically discontinued the Forecast feature back in March, so we're sorry for any confusion caused by the miscommunication. The CFP itself will remain in product and is an area that we're continuing to develop with the power of AI. 

Since the update the planner is nothing but useless. The is s backwards step as I used the planner/cashflow as an indicated and visualisation of how the business was and will be performing. Being dyslexic graphs help tremendously. Thanks for NOT accommodating people with disabilities in your downgrade of this section. Increase in subs, reduction in functionality. Way to go Intuit.

Hi Mark, thanks for sharing these additional comments. We appreciate many businesses benefit from forecasting tools and we removed this to focus on improvements. 

There will be a new solution coming in the future (TBD) that will be a great improvement to the previous projected revenue feature and this will be powered by AI. 

I'd be looking forward to any improvements Georgia, we all will. Not sure how AI will make a difference to actual figures in the books, it's pretty black and white and with cashflow predictions being used going back to the days of the quill. 

Powered by AI?

OMG!

I can just imagine the developers meeting...

- some users (you remember? the ones that pay us every month for the system?) have asked us to fix a few UI bugs that we seem to have introduced in the last few months.

- never mind that, the Marketing Dept wants something/anything to be powered by AI so they can have a crack at trademarking the phrase.

- but only if we've got something that is shiny & new & vaguely Powered by AI (TM)

- come on devs, get cracking with the AI crystal ball for cashflow forecasting!

- what about what the users have asked about?

- who cares, that trademark is not going to register itself.

- all together (*chanting*) "AI", "AI", "AI", "AI", "AI"

Perfectly put @paul72. No idea what AI can do for the dull world of accounting. They can't even get the basics right for crying out loud, like send emails, cursors in boxes, display a graphs from data...
