After several frustrating months and more emails than I can count .... and having got a bit of a resolution *not from Quickbooks but from a member in the community I might add, as to how to resolve the issue of uploading transactions from Barclaycard from a CSV file - it now seems that I can connect to Barclaycard. However, we have several credit cards and it is downloading all the transactions from all the cards into each card, rather than separating them into each card. This makes it a very difficult process to exclude transactions and going through line by line in each card - PLEASE ADVISE as to how to rectify this.

quickbooks are useless when it comes to connecting to bank feeds. I had similar issues with Natwest - you would think they could get it right for the major banks -but no.
Freeagent from natwest (which they provide for free) works everytime, so its not about clearing cache etc.
I have a barclaycard feed too - and like you - got frustrated at the lack of connection - which stopped working after a refresh of data. My issue was that i wasnt getting a connection - even though QBO itself said the connection was made. Then when i deleted the barclaycard feed entirely and tried again, i ran into other issues.
This worked for me.
Instead of selecting the icon for the bank you want, use the search bar at the top of the bank feeds. Then start typing, and you get a different list of banks to choose from. Pick the one most suitable, and try that. That took me to the banking authentication via a different page and worked for me.

Hello CB121,
When you connected the Barclaycard, did it give you the option to select individual cards on Barclay's side? Or did it just give you one Barclaycard to connect too?
All I can tell you is it used to work fine - and now it doesn't!
This whole thing has been a major frustration for months. I would just like it to be finally resolved so that the correct transactions are downloaded for the correct credit cards! And that I don't have to download CSV files and upload CSV files where the positive numbers have to be transferred to negative numbers!
And then when on earth is CAF bank going to be connected to the Open Banking? We purchased QB because it was meant to save time, but it is taking up more time than doing our finances ever did before because of these issues.
Hello CB212,
so when you disconnected and reconnected the bank you don't know if you selecting the individual cards or you just selected one card?
currently, we don't have a time frame of when CAF bank will be on open banking you will have to just csv the transactions in until it becomes available on the new open banking.
