Sending future invoices to your clients is a nice feature, info2066.
At this time, this functionality isn't available in QuickBooks Online. Although you can't directly schedule a one-time invoice to be emailed on a specific future date, you can utilize the recurring invoices feature to achieve a similar outcome. You can browse this article to learn how it works: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.
While we don't have a turnaround time on when the feature will be available in the program, our Product Development Team is continuously improving its interface and functions. They're constantly introducing updates and improvements to cater to the diverse business needs of all users.
For now, I recommend sending a feature request to the development team. Let me share these steps on how you can do it from your QuickBooks account:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
- Type in your suggestions about emailing future invoices.
- Then, submit your request.
Alternatively, you can share this idea on our QuickBooks Idea Exchange Board page. To do so, click this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/quickbooks-idea-exchange/idb-p/uk-idea-exchange. Then, select the Suggest an idea button. After entering your suggestion, choose Post.
