To close the periods you need Admin permissions. Can you have more than one Admin as the current Admin is one of the Directors and shouldn't have to do that?

Hello Plowmana, Depending on the QB online type you have you can have more than one in essentials and plus but not in the simple start as that is a one user package(aside from accountant users/employee users) the other packages yes you could have more than one admin user, though there is only one master admin user allowed on any account.
Hello Plowmana, in the desktop product if you go to Company> set up users and passwords> set up users you can add an admin user there.

Hi Emma,
This is on Quickbooks Desktop not Online.
How do you set up another Admin account as we couldn't see how to do it.
Thanks

Hi Ashleigh,
Can you amend an existing user to give Admin rights to or does it have to be a new user? I can't actually check as has to be the Admin that does it.
Hi Plowmana, you can edit a user, but it can only be the admin person who is able to do this by click on Company> setup users and passwords and then edit user.
