Hi,
Is there a way to pre-set monthly close date in Quickbook Advance?
or does the close date have to be updated each period?
Thanks
Vruti

Hi Vruti,
Thanks for getting back to us - you can pre-set the date to close the accounting period by going to the Cog Wheel > Account & Settings > Advanced > Accounting > Close the books and switch on. Here you can enter a closing date and opt to allow transactions to be entered before this date after viewing a warning or entering a password. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Hi Vruti:smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:, Can we just get a little more information about what section are you referring to with the close date? Are you referring to the accounting period close day or the payroll for example?
Hi Emma,
Apologies,
I am referring to closing the accounting period close day.

So each month I would need to update this field?
