Is it possible to have two separate companies on one online account
Hello debby63, thanks for joining the Community.
Each company requires a separate QuickBooks Online subscription. If you sign up using the same User ID and password for each (from the QuickBooks UK website, select the option for 'Already have an Intuit account? Sign in.' after selecting your plan) you can easily switch between the two. To do this, after creating your new account, go to Cog > under Profile, select Switch Company > From the list, select the company you want to switch to.
I manage two companies,, under one account, in Quickbooks.
For safety, one of the companies want password access into their Quickbooks accounts. Ii do not want them to be able to view the other companies' accounts.
At the moment,, it takes one password to access both companies. How do I separate them?
Hello Waddison, thanks for posting on this thread, so if each company is under a different QuickBooks file, you would just add them with their log in details to that one company. By going to cog wheel> Manage user> invite a user. Once added to that account they will only see that one account unless you add them to both then they will see both.
Thanks!
