Yes, you can have as many companies as you wish to pay for. 

 

Create or add another QuickBooks Online company

Here's how to sign up for a new QuickBooks Online company. If you have an existing Intuit account from TurboTax, Mint, or QuickBooks, you can use the same login info when signing up. If you don't, you can create a new account.

Create a new QuickBooks Online company

Here's how to create a new QuickBooks Online company:

  1. Go to https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
  2. Choose your country to be directed to your region specific QuickBooks Online website.
  3. Select the QuickBooks Online version you need.
  4. Choose to buy now, or start a free trial. (Note: This is not a UI-specific step, the "Buy Now" and "Free Trial" buttons vary depending on country.)
  5. On the signup page, select Sign In or Add another account if you have an existing QuickBooks Online account. If you don't, continue creating a new one.
  Note
  • Are you migrating data from a Desktop version of QuickBooks? Migration must be done within the first 60 days of signup. Get help with importing data from Windows (US only) or Mac.
  • If you want to start over, you can also wipe out your company data within 60 days of signup.
  • Your account is password-protected. Each company has it's own user list that is determined by the Master Administrator and/or Company Administrator(s). Giving a user access to one of your companies in no way grants them access to your other companies. If you would like a user to have access to multiple companies, you would have to add them to the user list within each company that the user should be allowed access to. Get more help with managing company users.

Subscribe to another company

Here's how to subscribe to another company:

  1. Go to https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/. Choose your country to be directed to your region specific QuickBooks Online website.
  2. Select a product (Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus).
  3. Select Start Free Trial or Buy Now.
  4. On the next screen, you may get option to either continue to create free trial (Continue to Trial) or buy now for a discounted price.
  5. Since you already have an account with Intuit, select the Add another company? located at the top of the screen.
  6. Enter your Email Address (User ID) and Password.
  7. Select Add new company.

If you already have a trial account

If you are currently using a trial account, you can put in your credit card details for payment to be automatically deducted at the end of your trial. To do so:

  1. Select the Gear icon on the Toolbar.

  2. Under Your Company, choose Account and Settings (or Company Settings).

  3. Go to the Billing and Subscription tab. Select Subscribe Now to update payment details.
  Note: 
  • The subscription will be deducted on a monthly basis. At the moment, only a monthly subscription is available for international QuickBooks Online companies
  • If you are currently subscribed to QuickBooks Online and need to update your credit card details, you can go to the Account and Settings page as well to update payment details.
  • Some QBO companies will not have the Account and Settings option under the Gear icon. If your account does not have this option, select the Your Accountunder the Gear icon to access your subscription page.
