we have started our QBO from July our financial year is April. Would like to enter all our subcontractors transaction, the ones which monthly returns were made under different package. Is it possible to do this so our QBO starts from the begining of the yeard

Hi Basia, thanks for getting back to us - it's not possible to create historic CIS submissions, the CIS returns will automatically begin from the month that CIS is turned on within QuickBooks and this month cannot be edited. 🙇:female_sign:

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. In QuickBooks, the date of the first period is determined when you activated the CIS function. You can enter the historic transactions within QuickBooks. However, you'll have to make the previous submission via HMRC.

Thank you for reply but this does not answer my question.
It is not possible (or I am missing something here) to make historic cis submissions to HMRC as the system ONLY gives this possibility from the month CIS was unabled.
We have started our CIS in July but we would like our QBO to start from the April
