Thanks for your prompt reply, @neil35. A private window is an alternative browser that doesn't store cache and cookies.
As an insight, QuickBooks Online uses cache to make the loading experience faster. However, it may cause some unusual behavior when it's full.
To use a private window, open a regular browser. Then, press these following shortcut keys and log in to your QBO account:
Once signed in, print your invoice again as you normally do. If it works, let's do some troubleshooting on your default browser by start clearing its cache and cookies. This will restore the system and eliminate older data that causes performance issues.
However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
For future reference, you can run and print reports in QuickBooks Online to monitor your income and expenses accordingly.
I'd be delighted to help some more if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions. Take care!
Hello Niel35,
Welcome to the Community page,
Yes that is how it opens up for you to then print it off the invoice.
No... I used to only have to click to the print preview page and then click print and then print again.
Now I have to click on a printer icon on the new tab and then press print and I also now have to mouse click out of that tab instead of just pressing the esc button.
Hello Neil, could you advise if you use an Apple or Windows pc and also which browser you are using, we have replicated the steps and we get to the print preview page and then click print icon and then print again in the pop up for the printer. We want to look into what could be causing the this chnage
its a windows PC and I use google chrome
Hello Neil , can you try in a private window, does it still make you tab out the page?
I dont know what you mean by a private window.
I used to print by pressing ctrl Alt P and then Enter and Enter and the Esc to return to the original invoice page.
Now I have to click print /preview press enter (and get a new tab) click on the print icon and then Press Enter to print and then click X to leave that tab and return.
Neil
PS the new badge nonsense is really annoying especially as it doesn't fix the problem.
I can print as usual from any other programme on my computer. its only Quickbooks that has a problem.
