Is there any way I can diconnect the PayPal option for clients to pay so PayPal does NOT appear?

Thank you for visiting again the QuickBooks Community, studio-briandavi. I'll be sharing details on how unlinking PayPal works in QuickBooks. Then, I'll ensure you can remove PayPal as a payment option for a client's sales entry.

Disconnecting directly from the PayPal option for clients to pay is currently unavailable. You'll have to log in to your PayPal app and disconnect it manually.

Then, I suggest unchecking the Online payment option through the Custom Form Styles. This is to stop giving the option to your client to pay via PayPal.

Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Custom Form Styles.
2. Look for the template and click Edit.
3. Go to the Payments tab and make sure to remove the check mark for Online payments and PayPal.
4. Click Done.

That’s strange and rather a shame that Quickbooks won’t allow a way to disable this future.

In that case is there anyway that the box to accept PayPal when creating a new invoice can be made to default to unticked, rather than ticked as it is at present?

it’s rather a nuisance to have to remember to manually untick the box every time we create a new invoice.

As of now, the option to deselect the field to accept PayPal payment as default is unavailable. I'd suggest sharing this great feature with our developer's team.

Here's how to send product suggestions:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Under PROFILE, select Feedback.
3. Enter a brief description of the feature suggestion.
4. Hit Next.
